What happens when you open this page
Our server records the usual connection data: your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system. This happens to deliver the page and to keep the server secure. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR - our legitimate interest in a working, secure site. These records are deleted after [7 / 14 / 30] days.
Hosting
This site is hosted on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The data stays in Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
Fonts
[Decide before launch:] this page currently loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is transmitted to Google. If you would rather avoid that, the fonts can be served from our own server instead - that removes the transfer entirely and is the simpler answer.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and uses no tracking or analytics. Your choice of light or dark appearance is kept in your own browser and never reaches us.
When you write to us
If you email us, we process your address and whatever you write in order to answer. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR. We keep the exchange as long as we need it for the matter itself and for as long as commercial and tax law require.
